A small sandy beach and tidal flat located just next to the mouth of the Machiya River (Inabe River). Many local people visit this beach for shellfish gathering in spring. Since most of the northwestern shoreline of Ise Bay has changed to factories and an electric power plant, this beach is very important for wild birds. Dunlins and Ruddy Turnstones visit here in migrating season. Eurasian Oystercatcher, Osprey and various duck species are seen in winter.
