Ano Dam Reservoir and Mt Shyakujo (676 m)

     A reservoir constructed on upper stream of Ano River in 1986 for the irrigation.

     The best season is winter. Mandarins visit and winter in this reservoir.The ducks stay under tree shade, and seldom come out to open water. Drakes have an attractive plumage in winter, and often fight against other drake for female. Great Tit, Long-tailed Rose Finch, and Black-faced Bunting can be seen in surrounding woods.

     If you find a Hawk Eagle soaring over the reservoir, you are happy.
