(Turdus naumanni)
A very common winter visitor from Fareast Russia. Both sexes are similar. Feed on invertebrates on ground, and small fruits of various wild trees. In former days, a large number of this thrush were trapped with the mist nets, and eaten even after the trapping was prohibited by low. However, these illegal trappings are now almost finished. This thrush stays in Japan until beginning of May.
